Family ancestors of Delta’s shareholders commenced shipping activities soon after World War II. During the years shareholders were involved with the management of both oil tankers and bulk carriers, cooperating with many oil companies all over the world (including majors and State owned ones), for the transportation of petroleum products and major trade houses for the transportation of dry bulk commodities, either under time chartering or at the spot market.

The company has a strong presence in international shipping with long experience providing safe and dependable worldwide transportation of quality goods by sea. Its success is rooted to its highly trained and committed staff and the modern fleet it operates.

Today, Delta is the management Company of Panamax and Supramax bulk carriers. The Supramax Vessels have been built in 2011 and in compliance with the strict international regulations with highly improved specifications under the supervision of Bureau Veritas. The designs were identical so as to capitalize on the advantages inherent in the management of sister vessels, such as crew and shore personnel training, maintenance of machinery with similar parts, and many other areas.

In addition, Delta is highly concerned when it comes to the protection of the environment. A zero tolerance policy for environmental pollution is implemented.
